This is the FFI RECIPE, which we have spent the last 35 years developing while leading some of the most challenging and rewarding educational experiences for youth to be found.
We understand that these are "out of the box" times and we are happy to provide "out of the box" programs that are uniquely tailored to your specific school/organization and student population. Our global reach has provided us with decades of experience working with all cultures.
Friends Forever International partners with youth organizations and schools around the globe to develop meaningful, immersive, and curated programming experiences for youth of all backgrounds. Let FFI design a program for your group or organization to help youth step out of their comfort zones, build as a team, communicate compassionately, and recognize the actionable impact they can make. Each program we develop includes our custom-made curriculum that relies on each component of our RECIPE to ensure that the young people we serve gain a wide range of skills. Programs can range in length from a remote individual session to a multi-week overnight experience at one of our global hubs.
Whatever your goals are, FFI can help meet you and your group where they are to develop them as future leaders. As a 501c3 non-profit organization, you can be assured that the work we accomplish together will always have the success and the mental health and well-being of your students at the core of what we do.
Due to the amount of time that we devote to each team of students we work with, we limit the number of collaborations we embark upon each year. Immersion Programs
All FFI Immersion Programs include a cross-cultural trip highly tailored to the team's and individuals' interests and goals. These in-depth programs are our most comprehensive and based on our innovative curriculum and philosophy. Programs are spread out in three distinct phases (Team Building, Skill Building, and Community Building, described below), with home-based & virtual sessions before and after the cross-cultural trip. Each Immersion Program culminates with a participant-designed community action project.
Discovery Programs
Our Discovery Programs allow participants to dig deeper into content areas of their choice. Participants take sessions that match their passion and/or goals. Available sessions include options from our Leadership, Social Studies, Creativity & Arts, Science, Healthy Living, and Adventure Education courses. These programs are perfect for those that cannot commit to the extensiveness of our Immersion Programs but still want the FFI program experience. They can be delivered in several different lengths.
